In a few words…

Connecting creative sectors: the ambition of the French Touch

The French Touch, supported by Bpifrance, works to connect all cultural and creative industries to foster cross-sector collaboration, innovation, and business opportunities. Bringing together entrepreneurs and creators around the emblem of the orange rooster, it builds on Bpifrance's strategic commitment, which has deployed over €10 billion in financing for the creative economy since 2020 and supported 20,000 businesses in their development.

It is within this dynamic that La French Touch is launching a brand new mission: 3 days of immersion at the Cannes Film Festival's Film Market.

This immersive program, developed in collaboration with the Film Market and Cannes Next (its program dedicated to innovation in the film industry), was designed to allow a delegation of 10 participants to open new strategic horizons, explore concrete synergies between their sector and that of cinema and audiovisual, and establish qualified contacts in a unique context: that of the world's largest film event, also a crossroads of creative and technological innovation.

The Film Market, Cannes Next and the Immersive Competition: an international innovation hub

Held annually alongside the iconic Cannes Film Festival, the Marché du Film is one of the commercial engines of the global film industry. Every year, more than 15,000 industry professionals from 140 countries (studios, producers, acquisitions managers, public decision-makers, technology experts) gather to buy, sell, finance, and structure the content that will shape the next 12 to 24 months of the sector.

Within this ecosystem, Cannes Next has become the international forum dedicated to audiovisual innovation, connecting decision-makers, investors, creators and cutting-edge technologies.

In 2025, Cannes Next also launched:

-AI for Talent Summit: The summit brought together 250 carefully selected guests from the film industry, including studio executives, creatives, filmmakers specializing in generative AI, start-up founders, investors and public policymakers.

- Innovation Village: a 1,000 m² hub, dedicated to exchanges between creatives and tech players.

A tailor-made program at the heart of the Cannes Film Festival

-Targeted B2B meetings with studios, producers, tech executives, platforms, investors and key players in audiovisual innovation.

-Exclusive access to networking events, conferences, showcases, and screenings and initiatives from the Film Market, Cannes Next (including the AI for Talent Summit) and the partners of La French Touch; as well as the French Touch Rendez-Vous event
