7 feature films and 10 short films, selected from thousands of films viewed, are in competition for the 61st edition of Critics' Week. To decide between them, a jury chaired by Tunisian filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania, to whom we owe The Challat of Tunis ou The man who sold his skin, nominated for the Oscar for best foreign film in 2021. She will be surrounded by Franco-Greek actress Ariane Labed, director of the Busan Festival, Huh Moon-yung, Icelandic director Benedikt Erlingsson and Belgian cinematographer Benoît Debie . Together, they will have the heavy task of awarding four prestigious prizes: the Grand Prix, the Leitz Cine Discovery Prize for short films, the Louis Roederer Foundation Prize for Revelation as well as the Jury's French Touch Prize.

Opening this 2022 edition, American actor Jesse Eisenberg will present his first film as a director, When You Finish Saving the World, with Julianne Moore and Finn Wolfhard.
