Eight design strategies deciphered. This is what this exhibition dedicated to design as a strategy for transforming the company offers, organized by FRENCH DESIGN by VIA with the support of CODIFAB, the Professional Committee for the Development of the French Furniture and Wood Industries.
Intuitively associated with the creation of objects, design nevertheless supports a more global approach that drives attractiveness, performance, influence, innovation and development for companies. Design Impulse proves this through a scenography designed by the Döppel Studio.
To discuss and deepen reflection on the benefits of a design strategy, Le FRENCH DESIGN is organizing a series of meetings during the exhibition that include La French Touch and the Société d'encouragement pour l'industrie nationale.

Eight representatives of the French furniture industry

Between images, texts and products, this exhibition sheds light on the design strategy of eight SMEs. Manufacturers or publishers, active in the home, office and bathroom markets, the companies selected to participate in Design Impulse illustrate the diversity of the French furniture industry. Their common point: having joined the FRENCH DESIGN INCUBATOR, a platform launched in 2016 to support projects defended by business/designer duos.
Here are the names of the 8 selected companies:

• Ambiance Bain, French manufacturer of bathroom furniture.
• Matiere Grise, designer metal furniture made in France.
• Sanijura, manufacturer of bathroom furniture, established for more than a hundred years in the Jura mountains.
• Drugeot Manufacture, French publisher and manufacturer of designer furniture in solid wood.
• Resistub Productions, French manufacturer of metal furniture since 1953.
• Noma Editions, French publisher of furniture and desirable and durable objects.
• Sokoa, manufacturer of office and community chairs, leader in France.
• Temahome, Franco-Portuguese furniture manufacturer, founded in 1961.
