Fly away for the next French Touch Saudi Arabia mission
Bpifrance and Business France invite entrepreneurs from the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) to participate in the French Touch Saudi Arabia mission. Apply before April 24 to fly to Riyadh and AlUla!
“ Saudi Arabia is demonstrating unprecedented ambition and dynamism in the field of Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) ,” details the document relaying the call for applications for the mission. Between Riyadh, the new cultural capital of Saudi Arabia, and AlUla, the city that proudly carries the banner of “ Saudi Vision 2030 ” – a vast investment plan launched in 2016 – Bpifrance, in partnership with Business France, is offering companies in the Cultural and Creative Industries sector the opportunity to participate in the next French Touch Saudi Arabia mission, which will take place from June 17 to 22.
A mission to decipher the Saudi market
April 24 will mark the end of registrations for the French Touch Saudi Arabia mission. After this date and, until May, the selection of companies will take place, the presentation of files to the Royal Commission of AlUla (RCU) and finally individual scoping interviews with a sector expert based in Saudi Arabia.
During May, the mission preparation phase will take place with the " Warm'up " project. Aimed at allowing delegations and project teams to meet and benefit from macroeconomic and sectoral analysis, this project will enable them to prepare for their mission under optimal conditions. Finally, from Saturday, June 17th to Thursday, June 22nd, 2023, participants will embark on a two-day exploratory trip to Riyadh, followed by three days in the city of AlUla. The week's program will include group activities (site visits, networking, meetings with the local public/private business ecosystem, etc.) and individual sessions (a personalized program of B2B meetings with Saudi decision-makers).
To secure a trip to Saudi Arabia, the company must meet certain conditions. It must be creative and innovative, and also be a Bpifrance client or a prospect in the Cultural and Creative Industries sector. The company must have been in operation for at least three years, have a turnover of at least €3 million excluding VAT (except for companies experiencing very strong growth), and be financially sound. The person representing the company during the mission must be the CEO or the founder. Finally, the company must have a strong commitment to international development , and its market/product must be compatible with the target region.
