In the footsteps of Sarah Bernhardt with director Laurence Cohen
A woman of the theater and in love with the life and personality of Sarah Bernhardt, Laurence Cohen pays homage, through several events, to one of the greatest French tragedians whose centenary is being celebrated this year.
On the occasion of the centenary of her death, the "divine" Sarah Bernhardt returns to the top of the bill. Exhibitions, meetings, concerts, screenings, in Paris and Belle-Île-en-Mer… This emblematic figure of the Belle Époque, who died on March 26, 1923, is rediscovered thanks to a dense and plural program entitled “ Sarah in all her states », placed under the patronage of the French National Commission for Unesco.
For La French Touch, Laurence Cohen, instigator of this program, looks back on the character and the extraordinary career of this international star. A true modern icon, as explained to us here by this director and great connoisseur of performing Arts.
