The French Touch in the face of the climate challenge

From events to the media via fashion, the Cultural and Creative Industries (ICC) are committed and developing new models to face the climate challenge. What are the challenges to be taken up and what models are emerging to respond to them? Video responses.

The French Touch is taking its part! Personally and professionally committed to the climate, Jean-François Camilleri, president of Echo Studio - producer and distributor of impact films -, Antoine Régis, co-founder of the Eutopia investment fund - which supports emerging and committed brands - , and Marie Sabot, associate director of WELOVEART Agency and the We Love Green festival were gathered, on the stage of We Are French Touch, to share their thoughts on how CCIs take on the climate challenge.

Act rather than suffer

CCIs have their role to play in the ecological and energy transition (TEE). First, as responsible for greenhouse gas emissions. They are said to be the third leading cause of mobility in France and generate nearly half of the country's digital data, with a rise since the start of the health crisis. However, there are few or no impact studies specifically dedicated to La French Touch. Yet CCIs can, as a vector of trends, instill a wind of change in the public and encourage the adoption of new practices that are more virtuous for the climate. A vision shared by Jean-François Camilleri: “ If we succeed in making even one person aware of a subject, such as the climate for example, we give them the tools so that they can take action if they wish.. »
