Anticipating the shifts in the photographic medium and the evolution of new technologies, offering all audiences the opportunity to experience the image: these are the ambitions of the Rencontres de la photographie d'Arles, a cultural event with exponential success since the early 2000s. For over 50 years, the biggest names in photography have participated in the Rencontres d'Arles, an authentic breeding ground for new talent. Each year, nearly 127 visitors and 000 professionals come together to discover and share their love for this discipline.

For this new edition, the experimentation crosses the field of exhibitions and themes thanks to the sharp eye of photographers such as Zofia Kulik, Roberto Huarcaya or Juliette Agnel. The spotlight will also be on the emergence of young talents through the photographic work of three students from the École nationale supérieure de la photographie, and the Fondation Louis Roederer Discovery Prize at the Église des frères Prêcheurs.

The French Touch in Arles

As part of the first week of the Rencontres d'Arles, dedicated to professionals in the sector, the French Touch will offer a round table at the crossroads of disciplines with the participation of Christophe Brachet, set photographer.
