La French Touch, partner of the Sœurs Jumelles Festival in Rochefort
More than a film festival, more than a music festival, it is the meeting and celebration of all images and music: these 2 closely linked industries unite in the Festival Sœurs Jumelles, founded by theactress and producer Julie Gayet, and of which French Touch is a partner for the second year in a row. This fourth edition, placed under the sign of commitment, will be held from June 25 to 30 in Rochefort. Through its concert and creation sessions, previews and screenings, classical concerts, documentary screenings, artistic meetings and showcases, this event aims to develop cutting-edge and unique programming for music and image professionals. , and the general public.
The Twin Sisters Festival, the meeting of music and image
Music and image nourish and enrich each other. Yet, too often, these areas are still compartmentalized. In a context of major changes for the audiovisual and music industries marked among other things by the rise of artificial intelligence, this festival celebrates their convergence and aims to provoke synergy between the actors of these two complementary worlds.
What music? All music: symphonic, electronic, urban, jazz. And what images? All images: cinema, animation, video game, virtual reality. This is the singularity of the twin sisters festival: a transversal approach to bring together artists and professionals from many worlds, and to address all professions in the ecosystem: composers, directors, producers, broadcasters, image creators.
