The Socialite Family conquers the lifestyle thanks to a unique business model

A committed player in the French Touch, The Socialite Family is much more than a furniture and decoration brand. The eponymously inspired media, dedicated to urban and connected families, founded in 2013 by Constance Gennari, a fashion journalist and art buyer who grew up between Paris and Milan, then opened up to the sale of furniture and decoration and has since pursued its objective: to enhance our interiors with pieces that are as functional as they are elegant.

Curious, we opened The Socialite Family's look book before going to meet one of the founders, Marianne Gosset. Ceramic and blown glass duo vases to compose yourself, warm wool sofas and poufs, emerald marble coffee tables, seventies-style rugs ... that's what you'll find there, and more. For the founders, it's not about making simple objects, they are the results of unique creative games and singular pieces that they offer, always with what characterizes them: a spirit borrowed from natural from the 1930s and 1970s, imbued with elegance and refinement.

The Socialite Family: an inspiring interior design brand that combines creativity and business

« Like you, we love nuances and the play of staging, with audacity and personality. The collection of The Socialite Family reflects this taste for mixtures ", explains Constance Gennari, who studied at the Assumption Lübeck and the Janson de Sailly high school. What drives the founding duo is the process of artistic creation, their innovative approach and their sharp eye allowing them to stand out in the world of design. " I love this constant discussion between beauty and business. Being able to give life to creative impulses, seeing a simple drawing become a real piece of furniture that will find its place in your interior ».

In search of innovation and quality, the two founders now offer a range of furniture and decorative objects that are totally " virtuous » to develop iconic collections made in Europe, such as the collection of furniture les imparfaits, and other products designed to elegantly dress interiors such as the Gioia lamp, the Panchina bench, the Roma rugs, the Duetto vases, the Brera wall lights, the Classica chairs, the Paparazzi coffee tables, the Divino cushions, the La Candela candles, the Rotondo sofas, the Cavallo armchairs, the Miuccia plaids...). And this thanks to collaborations with designers and renowned artistic directors such as Lisa Gachet, founder of the brand Make my Lemonade, architects and interior designers such as Vanessa Faivre, founder of the interior design agency A&D Vanessa Faivre. The Socialite Family also relies on collaborations with other leading brands in the sector such as La Redoute Intérieurs. Iconic French footwear and leather goods brand Carel has also collaborated with The Socialite Family, entrusting him with the decor and design of his Madeleine boutique.

Demand, quality, short supply chains and made in France are signature elements of the brand that celebrates handwork and materials. With around twenty employees, everything is designed in-house - the content, furniture, decorative objects - in the brand's Parisian premises at 12 rue Saint-Fiacre in the 2nd arrondissement. But the brand has not stopped at its iconic showroom and has expanded, it is available online, or physically at BHV Maris, in a space that has been open since February 2020. There has also been a The Socialite Family boutique in Lyon in the Antiquaires district since April 2022 after opening a first pop-up store there. An address that has since become a reference point for design and decoration lovers in the region, which shows the desire of Marianne Gosset and Constance Gennari to offer their furniture creations elsewhere in France. The Socialite Family can also be found at Bon Marché Rive Gauche since April 2023, in a space called Caffè L'Appuntamento, which combines a decoration boutique and a Milanese-style café.
The Soccialite Family, an iconic French, Parisian brand with an international outlook, has also exported itself and has had a boutique in New York since 2019. Their showroom, named L'Appartement, is located on the 24th floor of 1 Wall Street, in the Financial District, in an Art Deco building designed in the 1930s by architect Ralph Thomas Walker, offering a unique design and decoration experience and further imprinting its identity.

Beyond the world of decor and lifestyle, a unique “media x brand” model

In addition to being a committed brand of La French Touch, the company continues to cultivate its media, which creates and distributes content on the Art de vivre, the home, and contemporary families, offering to discover a Left Bank home, an apartment with a roof terrace in eastern Paris, a Victorian mansion in the artists' district of Brooklyn, or a haven with a view of the Canal Saint-Martin. At the heart of the issues facing connected urbanites, the media explores the intimacy of families and parents of new generations every week. Astonishing, inspiring, and offbeat worlds are presented to readers of the media to dream up their interiors. The media also draws its inspiration from hotels, guest houses, and hybrid places to travel and imagine its next collections. The catalog includes unique pieces inspired by cities, designers, and trendy artistic trends.

The brand draws on its know-how of escape but also on its membership in the La French Touch movement, which represents a unique opportunity for the founders to bring together the verticals of French creativity around ambitious projects. By pooling our ideas, our ways of thinking and our know-how, we will be stronger to promote French creative innovation in France and abroad. " says Marianne Gosset.
