La French Touch Rendez-vous, the place to be at South by Southwest

La French Touch and Bpifrance, in partnership with Deezer, Orange and Sacem, are organizing “La French Touch Rendez-vous” to showcase the French creative industries at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival. This event will be a major step in the “Learn & Pick SXSW” mission led by Bpifrance and Business France.

The French Touch Meet at SXSW

« We are expected! says Nicolas Parpex, director of the Creative Industries division and pilot of the Touch plan at Bpifrance. " The organizers of SXSW praised the French Touch, highlighting the creativity, quality and diversity of the French offer and its potential to inspire festival participants. » To reveal this diversity, La French Touch, Bpifrance and their partners - with the support of the Villa Albertine and the Austin Chamber of Commerce - are organizing " The French Touch Rendez-vous on Monday, March 13 at The Venue ATX.

Throughout the day, participants will be able to discover the excellence of French creativity and innovation. On the program: inspiring speeches on varied subjects such as the rise of the La French Touch Movement, the construction of the immersive experience "Notre-Dame" in Paris, the Web3 opportunities for music, as well as the French pioneers in cosmetics, biotechnology and metaverse. Deezer will also share its vision of the importance of musical and technological innovation in building partnerships.
At the same time, French startups such as Mira, Capsum, Orius and Ircam Amplify will present the latest trends in innovation. Made in France.

To close this unique day, participants will be able to enjoy an exceptional musical program with renowned French Touch artists such as Pedro Winter, Cerrone, Aimé Simone and Myd.

A strong presence of the French Touch at South by Southwest 2023

Still to promote the French creative industries on the other side of the Atlantic, Bpifrance and Business France are also organizing a "Learn & Pick SXSW" support mission. About sixty companies will be able to discover this festival which has become a must.

Thanks to this support mission, the participating companies will be able to immerse themselves in this environment conducive to innovation that is the SXSW. They will also be able to meet key players in their sectors of activity, develop their professional network and obtain a better understanding of the ecosystems of the cultural and creative industries in the United States and around the world. Finally, they will benefit from privileged access to the Trade Show and the “La French Touch Rendez-vous” event.

South by Southwest is a must-attend event for innovative companies around the world, offering a unique platform to exchange ideas, network and learn about the latest trends in the creative industries. Each year, the festival welcomes around 280 participants from 000 different countries. During the event, nearly 112 speakers share their experience and expertise, and more than 4 spectators attend presentations.
